Over the past two years the aviation community has been heavily impacted by COVID-19 restrictions. Because of this, a key safety area of focus is pilot currency and maintenance requirements when returning to flight after an extended period of time away.

In addition to returning to flight, loss of control events, near miss events, and engine failure or malfunction events continue to be key focus areas from our occurrence reporting data. See more information below in relation to these occurrence types and what members can do to increase safety.
